Jo Ann is a master’s-prepared, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in dermatology and cosmetic aesthetics. She works closely with Dr. Balikian to help patients navigate the often overwhelming array of cosmetic options available today.
At Balikian Plastic Surgery, the goal is always to help you look lifted, refreshed, and never overdone. Jo Ann has a gift for explaining aesthetic treatments in clear, approachable terms, whether you’re interested in elevating your skincare routine or exploring advanced techniques to enhance your natural beauty.
She is highly skilled in laser treatments to improve skin tone, texture, and pigmentation, as well as laser hair removal. Known for her gentle touch, Jo Ann has extensive experience performing chemical peels and injectable treatments, including BOTOX®, dermal fillers, and KYBELLA®. She is also trained in sclerotherapy and has spent over 15 years treating leg spider veins.
Most recently, Jo Ann has introduced hand rejuvenation to her offerings, so your hands can look as youthful as your face.

Debra is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over a decade of experience in cosmetic aesthetics, working in both plastic surgery and dermatology practices. She brings a high level of expertise to every treatment and is known for her precision, artistry, and patient-centered approach.
Specializing in non-surgical facial rejuvenation, Debra is skilled in a wide range of laser treatments and injectable procedures, including BOTOX® and dermal fillers. She takes the time to educate patients during each visit, empowering them with knowledge and confidence in their treatment plan.

Cosmetic Nurse Injector
Kirsten is a Board-Certified Registered Nurse with a strong background in medical aesthetics and over a decade of skincare experience. Originally trained as an esthetician in 2014, she transitioned into nursing and has spent the last several years mastering the art of cosmetic injectables.
As a former Lead Clinician, Kirsten also trained other nurses in advanced injection techniques, ensuring consistently natural and refined results.
She is passionate about enhancing her patients’ natural beauty through subtle, personalized treatments that never look overdone. Known for her eye for detail and gentle approach, Kirsten takes pride in helping patients feel confident and refreshed. When not in the clinic, she’s a busy mom of two boys and loves spending time with her family at the bike track.
