Face Lift

Mini Face Lift
This patient was bothered by the excess skin of her neck and the blunting of her natural jawline. Dr. Balikian performed a mini-facelift to refresh the neck and jawline while leaving a natural result that does not look like a facelift was done.
This 47 year old patient from Murrieta, California wanted to freshen up her appearance without the tight pulled look of plastic surgery. Dr. Balikian performed liposuction of the entire neck as well as a short-scar Mini-facelift to help define her neckline and jawline. Rhinoplasty
This patient from Temecula wanted to soften the appearance of her nose and make it look more elegant. She didn't want to make her nose too small and wanted to maintain some of the ethnic characteristics of her face. Dr. Balikian performed an endonasal (closed) rhinoplasty. The results show a nose that is in harmony with the rest of her face without looking like a "done" nose.
This patient wanted to have a nose that better fit her face and also reduce the size of her chin. Dr. Balikian performed an endonasal (closed) rhinoplasty and chin reduction. At three months after her surgery the results show a nose without large cartilage bumps and a straighter hump. Results will continue to improve over her first year of recovery
This patient wanted a smaller nose that looked less hooked. She also wanted to breath better. This male rhinoplasty patient underwent an open rhinoplasty to soften the hump of his nose as well as the cartilages of his nasal tip.

Blepharoplasty
This patient wanted to treat her upper and lower eyelids to take away the tired look. Dr. Balikian performed an upper and lower lid blepharoplasty to refresh the eyes without changing their shape.
This patient underwent an upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty to help diminish the dark shadows created by excess bags and sags of skin.

This patient was bothered by the dark circles of her lower eyelids as well as the excess skin of her upper eyelids. Dr. Balikian performed an upper and lower blepharoplasty to remove excess skin and fat from those areas.
This 45 year old patient from Temecula had a family history of excess skin of the upper eyelid. With incisions hidden completely in the pleat of folding skin of the eyelid, Dr. Balikian was able to remove the extra skin and with it the excess weight hanging on her eyelashes.

Brow Lift
This patient was bothered by the tired look of her eyes. By performing a forehead lift Dr. Balikian has refreshed her forehead and upper eyelids. Dr. Balikian also performed a lower eyelid lift on this patient at the same time.
This patient from Temecula, California had concern with the wrinkles of her forehead and heavy weight of her eyebrows. Friends were always telling her she looked angry, but she did not feel angry at all. Dr. Balikian performed a minimally invasive Endoscopic Forehead Lift to help remove the wrinkles of the forehead and between the eyebrows, as well as lifting of the eyebrows to remove the heavy look and feel. What results is a removal of the scowl look to her eyes.

Otoplasty
This patient from San Diego always wore her hair down to cover her protruding ears. Dr. Balikian performed an ear pinning procedure and recurved the cartilages of her ears.
This 20 year old patient from the Inland Empire had been bothered her entire life by her protrudig ears. While in college, she decided to have them treated and rotated back in place. Dr. Balikian performed an Otoplasty to rotate her ears back into a more natural position.
This 8 year old patient from Murrieta, California came in with her parents to discuss her protuding ears. There were two reason her ears stood out. One was because she had excess cartilage in the round bowl of her ears, and second, she had poor definition of the contours of her ears. Dr. Balikian performed an Otolplasty (ear pinning) that corrected both of these problems leaving her with natural looking ears with no noticable scars.

Chin Implants
This patient's retruded chin blunted her neck line and gave her profile a slanted look. By performing a chin implant, Dr. Balikian has better balanced her face in a more vertical direction and helped define her neckline as well.

Chemical Peels
This patient presented with concerns about the texture of her skin, large pores, and brown spots from years of tanning at the beach. Dr. Balikian performed a Chemical Peel which has left her skin smoother, supple and with less brown spots throughout her cheeks.

Reconstruction
This patient had a basal cell carcinoma develop on the left side of her nose. She was refered to our office after a Mohs Dermatologist had excised the cancer, for closure of the defect. Dr. Balikian performed a flap repair of the defect with surrounding skin allowing for a natural result.
This 43 year old patient from Murrieta, California presented with recurrent squamos cell carcinoma of the forehead. She was refferred to our office after a Mohs Dermatologist had excised the cancer for closure of the defect. Dr. Balikian preformed a two stage surgery called a Bilateral Advancement Flap.

Scar Revision
This patient sustained an injury along his nasolabial fold to his cheeks and down his neck. After it was initially sutured in the ER, the patient was left with a deep unsightly scar. Dr. Balikian performed scar revision via a geometric broken line closure technique to hide the appearance of the scar, and recreate a smooth surface once again.
